Mothers and Daughters

Она называется Greatest Love Of All.

I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride.

Everybody searching for a hero. People need someone to look up to. I never found anyone to fulfill my needs.

A lonely place to be. And so I learned to depend on me.

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows. If I fail, if I succeed, at least I live as I believe. No matter what they take from me, they can't take away my dignity.

Because the greatest love of all is happening to me. I found the greatest love of all inside of me

The greatest love of all is easy to achieve. Learning to love yourself - it is the greatest love of all.

And if by chance, that special place that you've been dreaming of leads you to a lonely place, find your strength in love.

Mothers and Daughters

She thinks she knows you, she thinks she owns you. She wants everything to be the way she told you.
Of course she loves you, worries about you. She'll smother you 'till you're choking. Tell me, don't you?

Например, можно ‘to smother with praise’.

Say Mama, tell me why has pleasure got to rhyme with sacrifice? You had your ways. I have mine. Your little girl’s a woman. Don't you realize?
She'll try to cage you. She'll enrage you. Walking 'round your life. Deciding for you.
Your little girl’s a woman. Yeah, for quite some time…

Miley Cyrus:

I'm a Nile Crocodile, a Piranha. Oh my God, she got the power. Oh, look at her, she got the power. So don't fuck with my freedom. I came back to get me some. I'm nasty, I'm evil. Must be something in the water or that I'm my mother's daughter…

She’s Leaving Home:

Wednesday morning at five o'clock as the day begins, silently closing her bedroom door, Leaving the note that she hoped would say more, she goes downstairs to the kitchen clutching her handkerchief. Quietly turning the backdoor key, Stepping outside, she is free.
She(we gave her most of our lives) Is leaving (sacrificed most of our lives) Home (we gave her everything money could buy) She's leaving home, after living alone, for so many years (bye bye). Father snores as his wife gets into her dressing gown, picks up the letter that's lying there, standing alone at the top of the stairs. She breaks down and cries to her husband "Daddy, our baby's gone”.
"Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly? How could she do this to me?" She (we never thought of ourselves) Is leaving (never a thought for ourselves) Home (we struggled hard all our lives to get by) She's leaving home, after living alone, for so many years…
Friday morning, at nine o'clock she is far away. Waiting to keep the appointment she made, meeting a man from the Motor trade.
She (what did we do that was wrong) Is having (we didn't know it was wrong) fun (fun is the one thing that money can't buy) Something inside, that was always denied, for so many years. She's leaving home, bye, bye…

В основе пословица ‘Rolling stone gathers no moss’:

Age of sixteen I was on the road doing things you've never seen. And I've been used, I've been confused trying to live the life I lead. You can't put the blame on me. I've been misunderstood. Never could get satisfied living how you think I should. Don't tell me what to do and don't tell me how to spend my time. I ain't got nothing to hide. I'm free to be what I want to be and nobody owns my mind. I've got my sunshine eyes and I've got my sunshine smile. I may be lonesome at times. I'm free to be where I want to be and nobody owns my time….Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone…Packed my bags and I'm on my way. Don't know what I'm gonna find. I'll just take what comes today. Tomorrow leave it all behind. It's all right now don't you worry. If you feel that you've got to roam. A rolling stone can't lean on no one. They got to keep movin' on Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone Rollin' Stone
